On the afternoon of March 29, a delegation of the Cercle Franco Chinois (CFC) led by CFC Vice Chairman Chen Yun, and Chairman Marc Castagnet of France International Graduate Schools visited Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GUFS). GUFS President Zhong Weihe greeted the delegation at the VIP hall on the first floor of the administrative building in the North Campus, and signed a cooperation agreement with CFC. Director Cai Hong and Deputy Director Yi Zongyong of the GUFS International Cooperation and Communication Office also attended the signing ceremony.

According to CFC Vice Chairman Chen Yun, CFC has been engaged in promoting China-France cooperation in education, technology and culture for two decades since its foundation, in hope of enhancing the friendship between France and Chinese people. “We expect for more professional and direct cooperation with GUFS through the visit,” said Chen.

President Zhong Weihe introduced the history and recent developments of GUFS, and indicated that the cooperation would greatly promote the future development of GUFS. At the end of the meeting, he sent gifts prepared by the students to delegation members, and signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of GUFS.
