In the afternoon of 19 September, a team led by Ms. Hannelore Lee-Jahnke, Honorary President of Conference Internationale d’Instituts Universitaires de Traducteurs et Interpretes (CIUTI) and Mr. Martin Forstner, Secretary-General, visited Global Tone Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (GTC Tech). Deputy General Manager of GTC Tech, Ms. Zhang Xiaodan and the team of international affairs exchanged views with the guests.

Ms. Zhang Xiaodan, Deputy General Manager of GTC Tech, introduced the mechanism of Language Big Data Alliance (LBDA) and the achievements it has made. Afterwards, Ms. Hannelore Lee-Jahnke and Mr. Martin Forstner watched and highly evaluated GTC Tech’s presentation of the achievements made in machine translation, cross-language big data and other fields. Both sides have discussed about the carrying out in-depth cooperation based on the operation mode of LBDA and have reached a consensus on the international cooperation in language big data.

After the meeting, President Hannelore Lee-Jahnke warmly invited GTC Tech to attend the Annual Forum of CUITI to be held in Geneva, January 2017, as a representative of excellent enterprises in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) , and to share with UN, European Commission and other governmental institutions, as well as global well-known educational institutions and language service providers the achievements of innovation in the field of natural language processing and big data, so as to promote the development of global language service industry with AI technologies.
