On 24 October 2016, Professor Li Hongru, Dean of the Center for Russian Language Literature and Culture Studies of Heilongjiang University, visited Global Tone Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (hereafter refers to “GTCOM”) and discussed the university–enterprise cooperation.

The two parties exchanged views on co-building several projects of the Center for Russian Studies of Heilongjiang University. In order to expand and deepen strategic cooperation between the two parties, and to realize complementary advantages, long–term cooperation and common development, the two parties reached agreement as follows: (1) the two parties will jointly hold the Russian language teaching training to consolidate and develop practice–oriented teachers; (2) develop extensive cooperation on Russian translation criteria; (3) carry out cooperation in intelligent analysis of cross –language big data in Russia; and (4) co-build Russian corpus laboratory in fields of trade & economy, law and finance.

Heilongjiang University is one of initiators of Language Big Data Alliance as well as a leader in the field of applied linguistics and Russian teaching in China. The Center for Russian Language Literature and Culture Studies, which was newly founded this year, will work together with GTCOM on co-building Russian Machine Translation Laboratory, Russian Speech Recognition Laboratory and National Russian Big Data Laboratory.
