Building a Global Research and Development System—GTCOM Signing a Joint Laboratory Agreement with University of Vienna

On March 20, 2017, at the invitation of University of Vienna in Austria, CEO of Global Tone Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “GTCOM”), Mr. Yu Yang, attended a seminar of University of Vienna. Mr. Yu made exchanges and discussions on the big data, machine translation, speech recognition and other cooperation with professors and experts from the Center for Translation Studies, the Faculty of Computer Science and the Faculty of Law of this university, and signed a Joint Laboratory Cooperation Agreement.

As the first European joint laboratory of GTCOM, both parties will carry out technical research in the field of big data, machine translation (German and English as the central languages) and speech recognition. At the same time, they will cooperate with European Commission, European Parliament, the United Nations, CIUTI and other international organizations, institutions and scientific research institutions to build a cross-language big data industry-university-research collaborative innovation platform.

University of Vienna is the oldest university in Austria and also one of the oldest universities in German-speaking countries. Founded in 1365, she now has 15 faculties. She is one of the largest universities in Austria and even in Europe, and is the alma mater of 27 Nobel Prize winners.
