Boasting of its multilingual courses and open-ended orientation, the current School of Foreign Languages of CUPL, was founded in June, 2002 from the preceding Department of Foreign Languages.

For many years, the employment rate of graduates from the school has exceeded 95%, nine hundred of them with English and German majors being well active in such diverse fields as diplomacy, foreign trade and economic cooperation, education, legal affairs, and journalism. Earning good acclaims from their employers, they have made active contributions to the national economy and social development.
