Recently, the first meeting of Board of Directors of LBDA kicked off at YeeCloud Building in Qingdao. Mr. Huang Youyi, Co-Chairman of LBDA and Executive Vice President of the Translators Association of China, Mr. Huang Song, Co-Chairman of LBDA and General Manager of China Translation Corporation, as well as the representatives of more than 20 initiators attended the meeting, at which the LBDA Charter was voted through.

Announced to be established at the Opening of Language Big Data Conference 2016 held on April 8, 2016, LBDA will, in alliance with global institutions of higher education, research institutions and enterprises, carry out extensive communications and cooperation in terms of the development, sharing and collaborative innovation of language big data with a view to benefiting the general public with the Think-Tank.

According to the LBDA Charter, Board of Directors of LBDA shall be in charge of rules and regulations formulation, project planning, activity organization, financing, external affairs and others for LBDA, and Global Tone Communication Technology Co., Ltd. serves as the Secretariat under the Board, taking charge of routine administration. Other issues such as the main duties of LBDA, membership Admission and institutional framework are also set forth in the Charter.
