Topic: Development and Innovation of the Language Service Industry under New Normal
Themed on “Development and Innovation of the Language Service Industry under New Normal”, the 2016 China Language Service Industry Conference (CLSIC) & 1st Annual Meeting of Translators Association of China (TAC) aims at discussing how the language service industry, as a fundamental industry for Sino-foreign communication, should play a better role in promoting China’s foreign trade and cultural exchanges, strengthening China’s international competiveness.
With the purpose of serving China’s sustainable development, serving various sectors, and serving association members, the conference gathers governments, domestic and foreign language service consulting agencies, language service providers, language service technology providers, language training centers, publishing agencies, domestic and foreign language service industry organizations, professional translators and interpreters, TAC members, as well as domestic and foreign transnational enterprises and emerging Internet agencies in the demand for language service, to build an international platform for language service supply and government-enterprise-university-research cooperation, and propel the self-improvement and innovative development of the language service industry, playing a better role in promoting Sino-foreign communication.
